i will be going to mustang island on august 8 and was wondering if there are any good places to gig some flounder? or if anyone knows where fish are being caught. i will take any advice.

I always go along the causeway from Aransas Pass to the island. If heading from the mainland to the island I usually go to the third in road to the right after the last bridge in Aransas Pass. Stable bottom there and shallower water.

Where Cypher Orange said is a good spot. I'll also add Charlie's Pasture in Port Aransas, Packery Channel and Fish Pass (the Bulkheads) closer to Corpus Christi.
