Mojo, yep talking about next Red Snapper season...
I agree with the idea of driving a little further south so the boat ride isn't as far. looks like around a dozen so far that might be in,very cool. i will give the topic another month or so and see whats up. i will then send Willie an email and start seeing if he can do his magic on a trip for us.

Big Daddy, there are a few of us that travel from the DFW area down there so we should be able to get you hooked up with a ride. the Snapper season has changed the last couple of years but it would be during the summer. this year i believe it was June and July...

ok then sounds good, my seats may change from 2, to 3-5 as if my dad goes he will bring his wife, and me and then if my friend decides to go he may take his wife.

I might be interested in something like this. Could you please fill me in on more detail? Is this a charter for 20-30 people? I've never fished with more than 6 people on a off shore charter before. How would fishing be with that many people?

Twin, yes this would be around that # of people. fishing is usually a lot of fun as long as the boat is not overloaded and TOO makes sure of that when they set a charter up. you have to work together when fish are caught to keep from getting lines crossed but its usually not a problem unless someone is using a rig that is not suited for the type of fishing the boat is doing which causes the issues. most times the rail dance on a head boat is part of the fun, watching the guys working their fish up and down the boat...
