 AOY payout on local trails

looking here for opinions. TDs are always looking to make their trails better but what about as in the elites, how about adding an AOY payback to some of the local trails? it would be optional but if each team kicked in $200 and you get 100 teams in it then you have $20K to split it for the the top 10 or whatever.

We have given this some thought instead of having a championship on a lake half of the guys do not know and will not fish. Award the leaders of the points race, maybe top 3 to 5 depending on attendance.
Food for thought and we are chewing on it.

You pay 1 spot for every 5 teams and big bass. If you took $5.00 out of every entry for AOY your tournament payouts would be lower. Meia Bass ofers the AOY free entry for the following year. Which is about the same as $5.00 of every entry. I would like to see a "Clasic" setup where every top # of teams from every divition compete on a 2 day tourny at the first of evey year.

WWWT, Media, I could go on and on be more specific. regoinal teams?
Statewide? who would get the pleasure of calculating who's in?

I would love to see every qualified team from every devition in every state meet up for a 2 or 3 day tourny. But state wide would prob be more doable. Just say top 5 or 10 from every region. with no allternates. You qualify you go or not. With that being said, if you took $5.00 out of every entry in every region state wide that would be a good payout. Sponsers put up a little money, nice trophy. What you think? One big opener every year of the top teams from every region with a realy good payout. More teams would be willing to fight for that top 5 or top 10 I think!
