I'll be at Lake Kemp at a friends cabin this weekend. Was wondering if anybody knew whether its worth fishing for stripers there now after the great algae kill. Is there shad in there or do you have to import it? Thanks for the help.

Lots of new water comming in right now from the rains this week. The stripers are still on the small side, but there is a bite. Bluecats are hot there, as well as channell cats.

The lake level is the best there in years, but watch for debris from the rains.. Ts
