I called them yesterday to place an order for the baby shad in a couple of colors. Talked to Ronnie Parker about the order. Today, there the order is in the mail. Not only what I ordered but samples of 4 other colors. HOW GOOD IS THAT!!! What a great outfit.

Recieved mine in the mail Sat. Did a side by side comparison with my go-to Rocky Top SuperSlab. Fished a bridge so it was a fair comparison as I would alternate after each column fished. The bite was tough but I did manage about 25 fish. The Crappie bite was too close to call between the 2 but I did catch 4 Black Bass on the LFT bait. All though the LFT is not quite as durable it held up nicely. I like them alot!!! Thanks for the free sample.
Dont really know the color they sent me but it was light brownish with green flake with a light colored belly. Good stuff

When fall fishing is at its best, this bait is gonna light em up! These dog days of summer are starting to wear me down, but I have good fall fishing to look forward to!

I really hated I couldn't take Cliff up on the BP seminar opening he had cuz I really need some help in that area. I've FOR EVER been a bridge/visible,standing timber man but I'm seeing how this bp technique is something worth mastering. Maybe I'll pick it up eventually. BTW, if you found 15" fish on one of my sets, they weren't there when I was OR I just wasn't on loc like I shoulda been.

Pepop. Find the sweet spot on each pile. Say that over and over and over in your head. Instead of counting sheep tonight count crappie. One after the other moving into a spot the size of 5 gal bucket. When your jig gets in that bucket picture that crappie thumping your jig. One after the other, one after the other. Find the sweet spot, Find the sweet spot. Sweet Dreams!

The Lake Fork Tackle Live Baby Shad has been accounting for the majority of the fish that we're catching on Grapevine lately (Benny and I are testing it next to other plastics and hand tied). It's gotta be the movement of the bait, but crappie seem to knock the stuffings out of it when they hit. I also like the fact that it's impregnated with garlic and salt, so I have stopped using candy...don't need it. The three main colors that have been best for us is the chartreuse/pearl, Sour Grape (blue top and green belly w/ flake), and the Bull Bream (green top w/ pearl belly w/flake). I just received 8 more colors in the mail yesterday and will be trying them out this week, but if you're ordering some now, you can't go wrong with the three colors described above. So far this week, they have accounted for over 200 crappie caught and released at Grapevine.

Cuz my memory is so bad, I keep a log of tff'ers & their rigs so if I run into someone I won't be sitting there scratching my head (unless I forget where my list is)

Guy, when I was placing my order I told Ronnie about your green/blue baby shad that you mentioned in a GV post. I was on the phone when he called you about it and you said you had to get home to get the right color. LOL.
