Went to Rowlett Creek today. Looked a little scary (real muddy). I'm sure I could've made it down to the water, just not sure I could get out. Does anyone know of some good access points? I used to fish behind the gun range. Got run off the last time I tried to fish there.
Is anyone having any luck out there yet? Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks,
JEJ34

Personally, I am not going to spend a minute on Rowlett Creek until this water clears...probably 3 days or so.
You can park just east of the Centerville/Miller road intersection for the lower part of the creek. The upper parts of the creek are hit/miss.

From having fished Rowlett Creek from after High School(83) til 1999 and having caught who knows how many Whites, finally got tired of the parking situation and the slick banks, and rude fishermans, so I told a Game Warden that I lift weights that I was going Rowlett Creek free and that was 5 years ago and have not been back since. And have not lost any sleep over it.
I know a lot of other places, just ask John Varner.
