My dad just moved to Port Lavaca and is living in a hotel until their house sells here in Tyler. I know he needs to get out and wet a hook.

Anyone know the easyest way for some line tug. Also too, he loves the surf fishing scene. Is Matagorda or Aransas the best place for a surf rod. Maybe something closer???? I havent had a chance to get down there and find out....yet!!!!
Thanks

try posting in the inshore fishing and other saltwater places. I know there is good fishing around there but not sure.

Politicians, baseball players, high-powered corporate CEO's they all seem to eventually let us down. Nature, however, does not. Look to her for inspiration and you will learn the secrets to living a good life. The most Important lesson it would seem is to make sure you spend as much time fishing as anything else.

Indianola Marina.

8 Bell St.

Nice little marina. They sell bait, tackle, food, drinks. Fish for trout at night under the lights. Also, in Jan/Feb/Mar the big black drum move right thru there.

Since fishing is a sport, I guess that makes us athletes...
