i heard one guy was shot in the [censored] while jumping over the fence after fishing one evening. Lucky he got shot with a beebee gun instead.

Thanks for the advice and input everyone. I know it was stupid. I learned my lesson. Just wanted to share with you guys what happened. I've never been in trouble with the law or anything before. I found out my dentist lives in the neighborhood so I'll be scheduling an appointment with him soon ;] haha

We all do stupid things when were young. Now, if you were 50 years old thats a problem.

I had a great litle creek that is pretty deep. i fished it a few times with no issues. No fences, gates or signs. i would routinely pull out 4-8lb cats and it has gar as well as big bass. About 2 weeks ago i was approached by a man who informed me that it was in the middle of an archery range! Only took one warning for me. I miss that spot like hell, but i sure dont want a stray arrow in my [censored]!! I asked for permission to fish it "after hours" and was declined.....sucks, but rules are rules.

I would still hit the pond! Just leave a little time in beteween each session, and change your routine. Carry very little, plan a quick escape route.
Cmon you said there were 8 plus pounders in there!
Go big, or stay home !

A few of y'all are some condescending, lesson-teaching m#*r's.

Its a good thing people like me have people like you to keep us on the straight and narrow.

I would bet about anything that most of you do far worse, offensive things in your daily life than trespass for a fish.

Its just funny how quick y'all are to throw in your worthless judgement. I mean, its not even in y'alls neighborhood that this guy is fishing.

Lameness, for real.

Not only would I fish that stupid pond again, I'd steal something on my way out. A momento.

Who on here speeds on the road? That's a law. Its even posted with signs. Actually, if you speed around me, you are taking liberties with my life that the law explicitly prohibits. That's a tad more annoying than fishing a neighborhood pond in my opinion.

Look at it this way, jumping all around like idiots because some guy fished a pond makes ya' look a little...I dunno...trivial. Think about it.

Dude you are preaching to the choir. I know of ponds that are like that full of 5 and 6 lbers but you get kicked out and threatened by HOA people. Its all good though...not worth a police encounter. You need to learn the art of Night time Ninja fishing

I don't get this kind of [censored]. If I catch you on my property without permission i will ask you to leave and if you can't respect that then you need another lesson. The End

You a big lesson teacher? Its a neighborhood pond. Lets say you did catch him, you asked him to leave, and he told you where to go stick it and to mind your own business. What kind of lesson do you have in store for him?
