 BAD DAY ON LL

Wind kept us from visiting the usual spots. Did manage a few keepers fishing shallow along the bank area near Lake Park. Best part of the day was towing in 2 stranded guys who's motor wouldn't start and also had a bad trolling motor. Glad we past by when they needed help. Got them back to the ramp safe and sound..... 
You guys know everything..... I'm just an idiot....no problem........

Bet those guys were glad to see you coming along.
So if the wind kept you from fishing your usual spots why didn't you just go find some other places? Drift socks or a good anchor can help out on those windy days.

Frank,
Thanks for the tow back to Tower Bay. It was "Murphy's Law" from the get go. Friend showed up late, big motor died then flooded, all 4 isolator bolts on the trolling motor stripped and rendered it useless, but the only positive thing that happened today was you were kind enough to tow us back to the ramp. I either need you full name and address or the name of your favorite charity to send a donation in your name.

Noxqses, Your welcome. Glad we could help. No donations need be made. Just pay it forward, when you see a stranded boater on the lake roll over and see if you can lend a hand. Except if it's nogeese.....

Frank,
I'll see you on LL in the near future. I was always told by a friend of mine that the pay back for a tow was 10 fold. For every time you get towed in you need to tow 10 other people. I have towed my share of people and I was almost payed up.

I was the passenger in Bob's boat, he actually did the towing. Either way glad we could help out a fellow TFF'er.

Would it count as a tow if I have nox pull my boat around the lake so I don't have to burn fuel?

As someone who has gotten a few tows on LL in the past, I want to thank you guys for being good citizens. Nothing sucks worse than being stuck on the lake wondering if you are going to get back to the ramp.
