So i take 114 to get to dallas all the time. I always see the giant las colinas pond.. its the massive one on the left if your taking 114 towards dallas. I always wonder if there is any good fishing in there.. Has anyone hit that up yet?

Lake Caroline I beleive is the name. Lots of fish in those ponds though, crappie, bass and catfish. As mentioned, NO FISHING signs posted all around but I know some folks take their chances (usually at night).

I've fished the neighborhood pond a few times cause my brother lives there. I've gotten kicked off twice, they just give you a map of places to fish in the area and ask you to leave. There are some big fish in there though

i swear that if there is a pond that is an amazing fishery that it is almost guaranteed that you have to fish at night

Those lakes and channels all over there are loaded with quality bass. Most are security controlled(lighter on weekends). Not just there, but around those apartments(tennis courts), there's a good one on decker rd, another one off Herd rd. by the golf course, and the main channel(behind McDonald's)and all around there is good fish. here is one on countless fish and chiggers I caught out of that area when I lived over there. A few years back...

Bass fishing is like a 30,000 acre golf course with no flags and five holes you can't see- Tim

I grew up fishing the lake. Full of big cats and massive sandbass, and bass. When they mow the rats and rabbits jump into the lake and become food.
