Found this photo a minute ago.....I thought all I had was video of this catch. She was a happy girl!!! She caught it flippin a rattlesnake into some pretty thick cover w/ a g-loom curado combo and 17# floro. This was the day she learned how to SET it hard and HORSE-EM OUT before they wrapped her up.

Here is a video of her next bass after that one... it shows her cast, her hook set and her landing it. It is helarious b/c she says in a dissappointed voice "its not very heavy"....needless to say shes only interested in the BIG ones now. love it..
it's funny watching kids fish because they don't do the things we do that we think work so much but they pull in fish. She was letting that bait just sit there and the fish did the rest of the work.
She's pretty good for a 9 yr old. Congrats man

Man, that is awesome. I am awating my little girl to come into this world any day now. Sure hope she can set the hook and horse an ol' bass out of cover like that in 8 or 9 more years. That's what fishing is all about!

That's cool! My 11 yr old caught her PB a couple weeks ago, a 4 lber, and the smile is still there!
