Sorry no pics, left the camera at home ... But all I can say is that this place is awesome!! We went to the Air Force Acadamy campus, Garden of the Gods, Pikes Peek, the zoo on the mountain, and the North Pole amusment park. It was awesome!! On our way up to Pikes Peek we spotted a heard of elk, and encountered 1 mule deer. That was quite a site!!! Just on tip though if you plan on going to pikes peek you will need to drink PLENTY of water!!!! Less oxygen up there so you will feel really noxious. Really hate I didn't get have my camera. BTW, That's a long drive up there!! 12 hours.

That is a fun trip!! I went there last month and did all the things you did and took a guided trout fishing trip and ended up with everyone limiting out. I think that is probably my favorite part of the country. Glad you got to experience it.

I bet that was a treat!!! We also went to the seven falls, it wasn't all that! Especially once you take the stairs all the was up to find out the trail was closed!

I lived there for 12 yrs. its a beautiful place for sure. Did you guys fish on the South Platte?

Did you get to Colorado National Park? We got to go a few years back. Very scenic, but I can't get used to driving on the edge of a cliff.

We just got back from colarado too. We stayed in a cabin about two miles from lake George. Fished the south platte by happy meadows and I caught this rainbow 21 inches. Sure was tasty. Had so much fun I didn't want to come home. Just thought I would share.
