Made it out saturday night. Thought I would try out my new submersible light. Launched at Benbrook and had to pole out past the bouys before I could put the motor down. Not a problem for my 14 footer. Fished Richardson slough with live bait and a light. but only cought two small whites in 5 hours. Marked a lot of fish on the tropoff in front of Rich slough. IF water drops another 8 inches I will not be able to get off that ramp.

I am getting ready to build a house where the 18ft hump used to be out in front of Mustang point.. There will be fishing right off of my front porch.

couple more feet and I can just haul my brush out there with the 4 wheeler...hehe. Hows the water level when launching at Rocky Creek??

Its been too hot to goto Benbrook. I havent been out there in about two weeks now. You planning on going any time soon Jared? We should hit it up sometime within the next week. I bet the patterns are still the same. Anyone know how the fishing has been over the past two weeks?

Too low to launch at Benbrook and I heard a report that the only ramp open tore up a couple trailers last week when they backed off them...my buddy made the right decision to leave  We are going to Bridgeport for some hybrids and big sand bass.

Just out driving around on Sunday and all the lake access on the North end of the lake is chained off. In fact, there was just enough water to float the ducks out of the Benbrook Marina...

nows the time to get out a map and mark the ledges and old train tracks?? over by rocky creek marina. that stuffs usually under water.

I fished BB last night.....magnum sandies by the dam boiling the top of the water......about 7:30pm the water is very, very low be carefull
