Had a friend and his wife come into Longview today. They live back in Florida. He is a retired Master Chief.
I haven't had much time to fish lately so I'm not up on whats going on at any of the lakes.
He passed by Lone Star on his way to town and liked the looks of it...but I've only fished there once so I'm really dead in the water on what the lake depth and structure is like.

Anyone fished Lone Star, Pines or Caddo recently?? We have fished Caddo in the past and he likes that lake...

Thanks for any help ya'll can pass along.... smile

Skip Lone Star...grass died this year and it's TOUGH!

You really can't beat Caddo for a non-local!

Open your eyes & look within, are you satisfied with the life youre living.

No matter how good or bad you have it, wake up each day thankful for your life. Someone somewhere else is desperately fighting for theirs.

thanks for the info on Lone Star...I also noticed while crossing the 155 bridge on Pines the other day that there seemed to be very little pads up that way....there used to be loads of them.

Maybe we'll try Caddo....
