I have some options to repair my boat and am thinking about a Gator Hull. What does the TFF'rs think about Gator Hulls?
Would you buy a boat that had one on it?
Have you had it done and were you happy with the results?
Did it change the way your boat handled?
You Know those kind of questions. Anybody got any answers

We just had one put on and I can't tell 1-2 mph difference. Handles the same and is very tough. Lake Fork Fiberglass did it with a 4 day turn around. They did an awesome job and plus it has a lifetime warranty. http://www.lakeforkfiberglassrepair.com/

Thanks, That is where my boat is at now. Looks like it will be next week before he can start on it.. ARGH.... I already miss it.

WOW lots of opinions on the Gator Hull.
Does that mean it is a mistake to put it on the boat?

Jody,
Rmax had one installed on his boat about 2-3 months ago @ LFF.
He's real happy with it so far, I know he's back in the stumps and the bilge pumps aren't coming on anymore.. LOL..
Best bet, other than buying a new one.. How you feel'n ??

My boat is at lake fork fiberglass now. I'm getting a Gator Hull next week.

Feeling better physically but my boat had a visit with a stump or something and right now it is at LF Fiberglass and due for a gator hull next week. Hopefully I can get it back before the weekend but this 3 day weekend for me is going to be painful with no boat... I HATE mowing the Yard... LOL

I got my Gator Hull put on this week and it looks great. The guys at Lake Fork Fiberglass do super work. The Gator hull cost about $110 per foot to install. Call Mike and he can fix you up.

Gator Hull is a fiberglass layer that coats the bottom side of the boat. Not sure how else to explain it but I am going to pick mine up tomorrow... I'm ready to get my boat back..
