I need a recommendation for a reputable striper guide on Texoma for Thursday. Any suggestions?

Les,

Hope all is well with you!

Several good Texoma Guides post on the TFF, but if I was going to Texoma, I'd look no further. I've never seen a negative post pertaining to JD. He consistenly catches fish and is even better at Customer Service.

Good Luck!

Thanks,

I appreciate the info. Sounds pretty unanimous for JD.

I'm thinking he'll catch em how ever you want (And I've meet him, and think you will like him),

Ya - I'm a User - a guide user - I would like to use JD,

JD is the man! Very informative and fun. The first trip I took with him, I brought my nephews, they had a blast. The real bonus was that I got to pick his brain about striper fishing for several hours while the kids reeled in fish after fish. Good luck, thursday is short notice for the best guide on the lake.

Lynn DeBock has been guiding for stripers on Texoma for as long as Texoma has had stripers.......even before that. Also, he works with JD Lyle all the time when JD needs another guide, so that should tell you his qualifications.
He broke me in as a guide back in the 90's, but it didn't take this fat boy long to figure out that guide business is a whole lot of work, and what you did for years for pleasure becomes just another job.
Give Lynn a call if you can't get JD.

I saw JD catch fish on TV. (I mean.. he was on lake Texoma, but it was shown on TV. The fish were not literally on top of my TV. That would smell badly). Anyway He appeared to know the proper methods and theories that pertain to the science of fishing, and captured many striped bass. Now, where did I leave that beer I was drinking...
