 New world record blue

I just heard that a new world record blue was weighed in St Louis Missouri this morning. It weighed 130 and was caught at the confluence of the Mississippi and Missouri rivers. As soon as I can come up with some pics I will post them. What a monster. It was caught on an asian carp filet with 40 pound mono on a penn 320.

Some guy named Greg from Missouri caught it. John Allen has the pics and will be sending them to me as soon as he lands. Did hear the fish died, but still a monster.

They said they tried to keep it alive, but they had a really hard time finding any certified scales. That would be a heck of a predicament to be in. I would try everything to keep the fish alive but I would have to get it certified. Luckily on Tawak there are certified scales close, and if you know the people well enough they will come to you.
