I was wondering if anyone from the coast is willing to swap a saltwater trip with a smallmouth bass river trip. I have a boat but it is ALOT cheaper for my wife and I to drive out VW beetle tdi than my crew cab diesel. I will furnish all my own tackle, just need a boat and someone who is familiar with the area. I offer the same, either a canoe or a riverboat and a trip out on crooked creek, white, buffalo river or wherever. Here is a link from the last couple trips:

Not to hijack your post but if anyones interested in a Choke Canyon trip or Amistad once the excitement calms down I would also be interested in doing a swap.

I can furnish bass equipment etc for the day.

Just would love to experience some ocean fishin

I have a family fishin shack at the coast and a 22' boat to fish out of and I'm willing to trade trips with you guys. I've bee trying to find a way to the White river for a couple of years now.

Only problem is our 3rd child is due in August and I won't be able to get out until the fall. Fishing is better then anyway.

We would trade a trip as well. Have a center console and plenty of tackle and rod and reels and can put you on some hybrids that fight like red drum and good size too. Would love to come back down here o the saltwater more often. Here for the first time in 5 years and loving it. Would love it even more from a boat, lol. Couldn't bring our and a camper too. We fish Lake Belton and live in Copperas Cove.
