I lost count of the fish we caught today. Every brush pile held decent fish. A ton of 12"ers. No giants...Well maybe a few that pushed 2#. We did catch one 20# Yellow Cat. What a fight that was!!!I did not keep any fish today. We have enough in the freezer and I don't want to overfish these hot spots. Here is Jaybo holding one of the better ones we caught. They seemed to have moved out a little. They were in a little deeper water today. Hope this helps. I'll be sending my $50 for the benefit. I'll be fishing with Jaybo this weekend. He seems to outfish me everytime we go out. [img]http://[/img]

beautiful fish!! and glad yall decided to participate.
COMING SOON! .. THE STICKLE HOOK " the stay level sickle hook". sits level in the water with all knots.! Provides better hook sets and more natural jigging motion. No more adjusting the knot, gluing , or tying loop knots that cause the hook point to tangle in the loop, or worse knick the line.. The jighook that will make all others obsolete !

UUUUUHHHH, That's because I wanted to keep him interested. I knew if I put my hook somewhere near the water, I'd catch one everytime and he'd blank. He'd be ruined and soured on fishing and then suffer from severe depression his whole life. He might even turn to a life of crime. Yeah, that's it. I really wasnt even trying to catch 'em. My hook was actuallt bare. I was actually forcing the fish to move towards his hook. OK. Now the truth is out. I was just building his confidence. WHEW!!! That was a close one.

Reminds me of the old SNL skit Tommy "the liar" Flanigan with Jon Lovitz, whose catch phrase was "Yeah, that's the ticket"
This thread needs more cowbell ...
