My wife is wanting to take a trip maybe in September and came across Fin & Feather Lodge at Toledo Bend. Can anyone give me a review of the place?
Thanks,

DP

Nice cabins, nice place to camp also. People were friendly and worked with us very well. Nice part of the lake and good boat ramp and dock.

Fin & Feather is probably the nicest facility on Toledo Bend. The facility has been here for years; however, a group came in and updated everything a few years back. Everything is in top condition and very up to date. Management is excellent. I would book early as word is out about the facility. It is heavily booked on week-ends. An excellent choice for a vacation or just a week-end trip.
Good boat ramp. Located on Housen Bayou.

+1 on all of that. Have a house up on six mile and have ate there quite a bit. Very nice place and good location.

They were at the Houston Boat Show earlier this year and their display highlighted what they have to offer - most impressive and the owners are friendly and pledge to make stays memorable and comfortable.

I wouldn't hesistate to spend a weekend there...or longer!

+1 on the above comments, I've even seen a couple get married there. Not many marina's can add that to their list of accolades.
