Went to HC yesterday morning. Fishing was pretty good but they are re-paving a big part of hwy 180 between Palo Pinto and Breckenridge with believe it or not with chip seal paving. It was dark when I arrived so i did not notice the damage the rocks my truck was kicking up on my boat and trailer had done until I arrived back at the ramp. My trailer has thousands of places the paint has been chipped off all the way down to the bare metal as well as gel coat damage to my boat. I am very upset and frustrated about this as I take pride in the way in which I take care of my things. I have contacted my insurance about the incident and need to get estimates on repairing the damage. I have seen on here before a fiberglass repair place that gets good reviews. Does anyone have the name or do I need to think about getting it back to the factory for it to be done right? This sucks bad guys and I don't want it to happen to anyone else.

Yeah I think Classic Fiberglass in Denton can do both the boat and the trailer.

I did that a couple of weeks ago going to Ivie. Turned into my insuranse company and they sent me a check for $450 to repaint my trailer. My boat has some very tiny nicks, I'm not going to do anything with the boat, just repaint the trailer. Your trailer probably looks like mine, it's looks sandblasted.

My boat did not have a nick on it until yesterday. I want everything back the way it was before I left my house yesterday morning. Any more help would be appreciated. Wasn't there someone in Ft. Worth that gets a lot of rave reviews on here?

Shouldn't the city pay for it or you just out of luck there?

Classic Fiberglass just did some fiberglass work on some spots on my boat last week. Excellent work and service there. I would definitely recommend them.

Hopefully they do a good top coat of tar/oil pretty soon.
That should keep the rocks to a minimum.
