My dad lit my fire for fishing on a tx rig purple worm when I was a lil fella. He fished about a doxen times a year with me until I was 10 or so, then he found himself busy, stressed, and tired from heart problems developed over a lifetime. He's had lots of troubles including a couple heart attacks. After the second one and a quadrupal bypass, he transformed into a very family oriented and fishing addicted man. I've been telling him for years about the trap and wacky worm bite that hooked me on the east tx lakes. One January trip with a dinomite trap bite on Big Sam hooked that man for what has been nothing short of an obsession. I will ALWAYS thank God for what could only be his intervention with my dad's health and happiness. Blessed, to say the least.
Slow down and fish! Joel
