 lake lewisville - did anyone hit the schools tdy or saw them

There were fish everywhere around the big dam and 121 cut...Not many keepers but tons dinks.

I ran into a good school around 2pm close to hidden cove. Alot of dinks.

Hybrids bit really well this morning on main lake humps (live shad) between 6:00-7:30am. After that the schooling activity seemed pretty sporadic and spread out this morning with the fish not staying up. The big boat show this morning was between the gravel pits drifting east toward Hidden Cove, but they were mostly over structure so it was hard to fish down underneath for bigger fish without getting busted off on structure. Surface water was between 85-87 at 6:00am this morning...and it got hot early. I was off the lake by 9:00am.

For the last couple weeks there have been some large schools of small sandies with good fish under them starting a few hundred yards off the golf course on the east bank around 7:30 or so and moving NW towards cottonwood point/gravel pit area.

yes i finally got on the schools on sunday around the hidden cove area - i started fishing the school at 12 47 and by 2:30 i was worn out and could not do it a min longer so left the school on its on  but had 15 keepers for me to enjoy that evening
