Guys I understand the concern. I can tell you now that there will not be a check in point. Will cause to much cluster at an already pain in the butt dock. With people fishing off the dock and boats tied up it just will not work. The chip idea does not work. Seen it first hand at other tounaments. Also lots of chips do not get turned back in at the end. The way it is run is the best and easiest way for the fisherman. Gives maximum fish time and has work great for years now. As far as people in off limits area I have had a few times it has been an issue. Two times the person would not protest. With out a formal protest I can do nothing. As far as the tournament director fishing for free. The tournament director pays a side pot just like everyone else. Most every night the TD is ready to weigh fish at 9:30 to 9:35. Seems fine to me. That means he was back before 9:30. As far as offical time it is not the TD job to make sure people know offical time. It is the person in the tournaments job to know what offical time is and set his time accordingly. There will be a clock at registration from now on. It will be the offical time.

These tournaments have been a blast over the years and will continue to be I'm sure.

I think if its in the rules, then whats the argument. follow the rules and you will not be no weighted. Everyone entering the tournament knows what time to be back, but there is always someone trying to push the rules to the edge. If you have a bag that might get you a check then why push it. Good call on the directors part (enforce the rules because if you dont then it will always happen). For the guys that have a concern about directors fishing for free, get real. These guys are at the lake every week before you and the last ones to leave after you. Then they give 100% of the entry fees back. Then they have to listen to and defend themselves from crybabies that dont understand the rules. Good call

dk that is my point exactly about the guys that got no weighted, in this group we really dont have any outlaws that like to push the limits including those two. i agree with you 100 percent on the tds free entry, we have two that i think we would be hard pressed to find better anywhere. and i know you do more than your share and a damn good job as well. I make a point to tell both vince and buda thank you every week as i am leaving and yourself when we get a chance to make a tue nite. But as for the crybaby part, if that was directed at me, is a little much. I have fished both tourneys for several years now and never said a word to cause an uproar. I didnt know it was so sencitive to talk about an something and not even close to being pisse* off, like many other posts i have seen on here. so vince and buda sorry to frustrate things thought we could maybe get something settled as a group of good ol men without the namecallin carp. see ya sunday and hopefully lannie has calmed down by then, ha

This has been the best working mans tournament out there so dont drag it through the mud.Rules are Rules. its not a buddy system.Good job Buda.
