Unless its change owners, Bill's in Zavalla stinks. Pams is the one to go to.

The Dairy Mart in Broaddus isn't a bad place either. They have some pretty good burgers for lunch as well! Also Catfish Junction for dinner which about a mile from Jackson Hill going towards Broaddus has a great buffet for dinner!

Catfish Junction changed hands last year. The last time I was there they had made a few changes, but they were good changes....

Powell Park...pull up boat and EAT! It's nice and cool in there too!

Here is a recent facebook posting for Jackson Hill. They have great breakfast too.

Gerry Robustelli Looking for an affordable, fun-filled outdoors vacation...Jackson Hill is THE place. Beautiful scenery, great, relaxing atmosphere, lots of good fishing, swimming, hiking and some of the BEST food I've ever had. The hosts, Terry and Connie, are gems. They make you feel like family from the minute you check in. Very ...accommodatring folks and truly interested in making their guests feel at home. Did I mention the food?? It is off the board...everything is delicious..The BBQ beef is melt in your mouth tender...one of the best burgers I ever had..ribeyes and stuffed shrimp that are incredible and desserts that make you wish you hadn't eaten so much steak. (We enjoyed the delicious peanut butter pie, but the peach bread pudding with carmel gelato and whip cream was THE BEST dessert I ever ate. Terry isn't a cook...he is a gourmet chef!!! Thanks for a wonderful vacation folks and look forward to seeing you again in August.

Anyone know if The Stump still has our TFF cofee cups?

For lunch or supper there's a good BBQ place in Zavalla where you turn off Hwy 69 to head to the lake.
