Did you get measurements on the big fish? only length...slighly over 24 inches Thats a great fish! Between 7.5 and 10. Your old man seems to be a pretty good size guy. And that fishes jaw is HUGE.. But here you go. http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores...p;storeId=10151

why do bass get blood on their tail? I have been catching a bunch that have bloody tails and blood dripping off.. it's from spawning

Enjoy those days with your Dad cause only the Lord knows when he will call him Home.My Father was 78 and a picture of health and had just had a full physical and passed in his sleep with no warning!!. Not that i would ever wish him back in the Cruel World we live in. My guesstimation after looking at the length of my pinkie finger compared to his (which is probably a half inch bigger than mine)...that fish is WELL OVER 30 inches long and WELL OVER 10 lbs.

my dads a hunter, he never did get the fishing bug. wish he would though. nice fish! did that big fish come on sam rayburn?
