Being a freshwater trout fisher type I like to do my homework and found an interesting report by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife and they stated

"Males are the majority when it comes to both freshwater and trout anglers. They comprise 75 percent of all freshwater anglers and 79 percent of all trout anglers. As for household income, almost a quarter of trout anglers earn $100,000 or more. Trout anglers are among the most educated anglers: 13 percent earned graduate degrees compared to 10 percent of all freshwater anglers and the U.S. population."

WHOHOO I knew being a trout fisher I was smarter and richer!!!!
I just need to post this artice outside my front door when people think I am a redneck/hick/hillbilly when I am testing out a new flyrod/reel or any new rod/reel.
