Mary-Ellen I hate to keep harping on this but ........ didn't any of the engineers that took part in the design of the Micro SD inserted in the SD adapter realize that to take the card out of the unit it has to be done with thumb and forefinger thereby pulling the Micro SD out of the adapter?

The Micro SD may be the "way of the future" but we are in the present and I certainly foresee other complaints about this same problem. I know for one, I would have been reallt p*ssed if I had lost that $200 Micro SD the night I had the problem with it.

What do you think of Skeeter Ronnie's idea of scotch tape or super glue?

Actually it's getting harder to like them anymore too!!!!

They really need to look hard at what they have done the last few years .... it's been downhill I'd say!!!!

Mary-Ellen is their only bright spot but other than that .........

Hi everyone,

I really am attempting to help -

Navionics did not design the SD or the MSD cards; these are common media cards which our data is then programmed onto. These cards have been tested and approved for use in supported units. All components provided are supplied by the manufacturer.

If you feel the MSD chart you have has been supplied with a faulty adaptor please contact me in order for a return authorization number to be issued for your chart to be sent in for testing. If the adaptor is faulty Navionics will replace it at no charge to you. But, please keep in mind that the MSD is designed to be removable.

As far as scotch tape or super glue I cannot recommend this. I will however continue to supply your feedback to Navionics Product Mangers.

Thanks,
MEB

Mary-Ellen
