I use Drift masters only. They are the number one choice for most serious anglers. They are simple, strong and secure. I use mine for live baiting and trolling and never had a problem no matter the rod size or type. They are available at bass pro or cabela's or you can find them online.

Hope this helps.

I have 3 different kind, and beereadys are best IMO.

My personal preferance is Monster Rod holders.

If you use big gear to go after big cats then you know how tough it can be to take a loaded rod out of most rod holder.
The Monster's are similar to drift master's but are slightly wider. This alone is the reason I prefer them over the DM. Plus they are more affordable since they offer multiple rod holder deals. Before you make any decision, check them out. www.monsterrodholders.com

BeeReady's are good, just not the style I am comfortable with. Lots of anglers use them, just not this one.

I am not affiliated with or sponsored any rod holder manufacturer.

I have used the Bee Ready rod holders and I really like them. Now I have the Driftmaster holders and they work fine, and I can easily remove them for storage. However, they do spin sideways if a big fish makes a run in that direction. Not a problem though.

Those Monster Rod Holder look like a nice setup.

I have two sets of Hi-Tek rod holders and have been nothing but pleased with them. http://www.hitekstuff.com/ I especially like the mounting bases on them. Real secure...
