I was out there the other day they were biting on White slabs very well for me, folks were also using chrome , chartreus, double jig sandbass rigs and top water poppers. The larger fish were closer to the bottom, thats why I like at least 3/4 oz slabs. There are trees under there though so be prepared to lose a few slabs. I can ussually move to the other side of the tree with the trolling motor and get loose.

yeah, we were mainly fishing with 3/4oz slabs, i was using the greenish color, but my friends were using some chrome char. and white. i also tie a jig or 2 about 6 inches over the slab. that way you can catch 2 or 3 fish at the same time. also we were using some non name brand kind of top waters that i think are called torpedoes. the fish when they were hitting the top would kill them. also make sure you get there when you know the fish are biting in the morn usually round 9 - 1

You guys do not know how bad I wanted today to see if we could catch more then the 242 fish we caught last Friday. Not really sure my hands could take it, but it would have been fun.
So, as I sit here at the computer and look outside at the blue sky and not much wind, I am forced to turn golf on the TV.
Missed a day this week, due to a funeral, all this work could wait until next week, but could not get one of my buddies to go with me today!
