My fishing partner has 12 of them and after breaking the first one he had, hasn't had a problem since. He raves about the microguide version as well. Also, it floats. With a reel on it... wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't seen it.

Excellent choice. I like the Classic MBR 783c and the Classic MBR 843c in GLX. I always get the rod I prefer, regardless of cost. It's cheaper in the long run.

I hope all the people who think orange rods are ugly are not the ones I see out on the lake in YELLOW bass boats! To each his own.

My buddy and his father have about 15 between them, all differnt age and weight and have fished with them for 3-4 years. Havn't broken a SINGLE ONE. But I also a buddy or two that have broken them, some their fault and one questionable one. a lot of it is about how you treat your rods. No one I know who has broke one has had trouble getting replacements. If I had the money I would buy them... but this po college student will stick to his vendettas and christmas gift falcons lol

I will bet you the price of a g loomis rod that their warranty is not as good as a e21 rod.
