normally a boat fisherman (small astro bass rig) but recently have rediscovered the joy of my youth fishing small tanks around canton/athens. reminds me of 30 years ago as a teenager romping through the sticks with a zebco.

these were caught on a .60 cent h&h spinnerbait, in a tank so small we had to be careful casting otherwise we would have to walk to the other side to get our lure back!!

Nice fish guys. I think the cheap baits effectiveness was more attributed to the low fishing pressure rather than the lures lol.

I caught tons of fish on H&H spinners out of my grandfathers farm ponds when I was a kid.

That was my very first lure of any kind... 35 years ago.
I first caught bass out of the Frio River near Concan in the Hill Country. Crystal clear and c-o-l-d.
I must have used those H&H chartreuse spinner baits for 15+ years on many different kinds of small and large water. They have a soft spot in my heart when I see them on the rack too. awwwwwwwwww

P.S.
58 cents! Thats a great price... I don't care who you are.
Maybe they were on the rack for 20 years. :-)

I still fish h&h's a lot now. Got all these expensive lures ans a white h&h still gets thrown quite often. Solid white. Nice fish. Gotta love the ponds every once in a while.
