No one uses the improved clinch? This is what I learned when I was little and have used it my entire life.

It's pretty addictive, after I found that site I tied 50# leaders to every hook I had, I have got over that now and just tie them when I need one!!!

I use inproved clinch on Kahle hooks. I snell circle hooks if I use them but I usually use the kahle hooks, 1/0 to 3/0 size

No one uses the improved clinch? This is what I learned when I was little and have used it my entire life. Me too. Then I learned the Palomar last year and it is all I use when possible.

I Snell the hook, attach to barrel swivel with clinch knot (30LB Test) and attach barrel swivel to main line with Uni-Knot (65LB Braid.
If at first you don't succeed... RELOAD!

I have tried several knots including the palomar, trilene, double improved clinch, and others. Now I use only the uni knot for mono up to 50lb and braid, for hooks and swivels, also lures. Also the same knot for loop knots and mono to mono of same size connections. It has never failed me.
