Ok, the boys at Classic did a great job. Not cheap, but a great job. For those who bitch about fiberglass repair, just spend 30 minutes watching those guys sand down the glass, etc, etc and then know the back breaking labor your repairs need. My job took a whopping 50 hours of labor. Don't ask the cost, cause it's top secret. (no deals, just expensive). When your bottom was as bad as mine was, I'm embarrassed to even discuss it.

I had the pleasure of being customer #1 with Classic earlier this year. From meeeting me to pick up my boat to keeping me informed every step of the way I was definitely impressed. Their prices were very reasonable and they did an outstanding job. boat was finished faster than promised and they even took care of a couple of other boo boos on the boat that they did not have to. i will use them again no question.

Classic took a number of pics after the boat was hoisted up in the air...and then proceeded to circle all the bubbles...let's just say there were a LOT of them (my used boat buying due dilligence sucks, to say the least). I now have a boat I can be proud of and it runs much better on the water (took it out today) than before. A smooth bottom makes a lot of difference. While I hope I don't have another reason to use them, I'd certainly go back, if I needed more fiberglass repair.

dang, that's an awesome fiberglass job.

The smooth bottom added about 4-5 mph top end on a boat that isn't all that fast to begin with...

i have the same model bluewve, can i ask how did that happen?

If you are going to put a fiberglass boat into a wet slip for several months under a 1 year lease, how do you prevent the blisters?

antifouling paint or a lift.

The guy I bought it from, let it sit in Lake Travis for 3-4 years. That's how the bottom got screwed up.
