The previous rains haven't done much good. Not any good runoff in the areas we need it. Well see what this round holds.

I haven't looked at exact numbers but I think we have lost what little runoff we got the first of the month.

Johnny

Yep that's another good one and there is a link to it from the river basin listing of the other site. The site you note is the best source for getting full pool levels of lakes and current levels on all Texas lakes. It is about the only source for Falcon lake levels.

Only back to what it was a week ago. The evaporation and pump stations were taking a toll on the water level. When I last talked to Jerry, it had only come up one inch. But, it's still raining and the ground is now soaked. So, it should start running off into the river systems now. I don't see it coming up more than two or three inches though. We need one of those 11" rains again on the watershed.

A really good friend of mine went there Wednesday and fished from 6 to 11. He said he didn't have one single bite. He caught a 13-4, a 10 and two 9's there in June. So, he knows where to fish. He just didn't know two of my spots that are holding some big girls down deep. smile

Texas4Liberty can fill us in tomorrow. I'll let you know on Monday what I find when I go again. It's supposed to be heavy rains again there tomorrow. So, I'll wait until Monday.

Wishing you the best on your wedding day JR!!! Congrats again.

After I get back from vacation of no fishing I will be there and hope it has settled. Or I can go on Sunday...hmmm possibly. I like fishing shakeyheads.

Well since Pony Creek which runs through my ranch just before 12 mile, has not filled our large tank, I dont expect the colorado to catch much water. It's just not raining hard enough or long enough for good run-off on the watershed.

Taking 5 to the weigh-in occurs when opportunity meets successful execution of one's preparation.

Just left there. Barely made it out before they closed the road crossing Concho river. All ya'lls honey holes have another 20+ ft. of water over them.

And I'm willing to bet those honey holes had 20 ft of water over them yesterday, the day before that, and for quite some time! lol. grin

Guy is pulling your leg again. The lake came up two inches. It might come up another inch when it's all said and done with the remaining water coming down the river arms.
