dude you're gonna either have to find the fish on the humps early
or chase the schoolies like everyone else.
Id hit up RayBob, not as much traffic........

The pattern is main lake humps (live bait for Hybrids) early and then schooling sandies with Hybrids underneath (slab or live bait)starting after 7:30am or so. Best to start up near the dam for schoolies and then look for the boats.

Man, you didn't see the boat show out there Sunday at 7:30 am near the dam? We caught some really nice hybrids under the sandies. Sandies were on the surface all over the Lake.

Hey, sleep in dude ... you can catch plenty of fish later in the afternoon & evening. Say starting about 6:30pm or so. smile

Funny how the only fish in the lake are beneath the boat show.

Don't give up as Sunday was a slower day on all area lakes from the reports I have seen...I was out there Sunday morning (7/11) also. I still managed 10 Hybrids on the day (5-9lbs), but the fishing was definitely slower that morning. I caught 5 of the hybrids live baiting on humps before 7:00am. The boat show which began in the middle of the dam around 7-7:30 had about 15 boats in it, but the fish were very scattered and were not staying up nor were they biting aggressively. I was able to get 5 hybrids over a 2 hour period from under those schools on live bait, but it took a lot of patience and moving around.
