I am thinking about buying a reel that has problems, this is what the guy said about it


"The reel is smooth, until the drag is tightened up, then it makes a clicking noise that can be felt in the handle."



Any one know what this may be??

this sounds like a bad idle gear or anti-reverse that is not seated.
