I went and threw some poppers this morning at a certain pond.
2 little largemouth, 1 crappie (on topwater) and my leader was cut on 4 different fish (I was not prepared).
interesting?

Orvis sells some nice and strong steel braid leader for the fly. I asked about it when I was there and was told it would work great. I just need to go get some....maybe I will do that now!

I would love to know also, but I don't think I know anyone in the know. I may know someone that knows someone in the know so I might eventually know.

I was going to suggest asking Bret for some killer gar flies. He sent me a few really nice ones when I was still in TX. Unfortunately, Bret started this thread so I have no helpful suggestions.
