No way 8. Sorry. I pulled two out of the water yesterday that big. One had a bloated fat belly that I would have called close to 5.5-6 and the other was a little slender I would have called near 4.5-5. Apparently some of you have never weighed in a fish and are still just "eyeball fisherman". I couldn't possibly call that over 6. If that was 8 then I need to add two pounds to every number I ever quoted. When I'm just eyeballing them, I know a largemouth at about exactly five pounds can take my fist in its mouth and hangs roughly from the top of my knee to the ground. I really hope you guys are right because that would make every fish I ever caught just that much better. This one is more like an 8-9 (not me)  This one is like a 6 or so (not me either)  This is a tournament weighed 4.96 pounder

I have caught em up to 12, and to me that one is in the 6-7 range. I took the pic in I'd rather be fishin' signature, and it was probably no more than 3-3.5, if that! They look bigger than they weigh!
i don't think he'd argue over it too much, Nice fish but, . . .

You eat that thing and end up with a bad cause of the squirts.... Nice fish that grow on the side of the highways but wouldnt want to eat them. Like eating catfish from the bottom of the sewer plant!
