 Buchanan catfishing trip

Mike (Mr. Whiskers) did it again! Thursday night we headed out to Lake Buchanan for some catfish. We set out about some jugs and then went and hung out next to the waterfalls. If you have never been to the waterfalls on Lake Buchanan, put it on your list of places to go!! After about an hour, we went to run the jugs and it took us 3 hours to check all of them bc almost every jug had a fish, and the big ones took the jugs offroading into the trees. So, that made it interesting, but we only lost 2 that were hung up in the trees. All in all we were on the water for about 4 hours and hauled in close to 30 cats. If you are looking for a guide, give Mike a call. Great guy who will put you on fish!!

Awesome! I was at buchanan this weekend as well. We also hung out at the falls for much of the weekend too. Beautiful place.

buchanan is about 40 miles west northwest of Austin, between Llano & Burnet
