Afternoon wade at the inside base. Picked four Specks one at 21" and three at 15". Caught on TTK'ers. Tide was going out and water was just a tad off color.

I wade fish the channel side. There are two steel pipes sticking up out of the water. When you enter off the jettys you have some medium size rocks to stumble through but once ya get out about 10 yards you'll be on hard sand. I like to stay to the left of the pipes. Once ya find ya a good place to stand fish all the way around ya. Keep an eye out for busting bait and shoot at that spot. You'll get snagged up now and then but you can shuffle to where your hung up and genrally be able to get loose. TTK Plum/Chartreuse my favorite.

What is the best way to fish the ttk--lead head, texas rig?? lemon rig with live shrimp/minnow, works great this time of the year popper I would save the jigheads for winter flounders basically just go out there and follow those who constantly catch fish, do what they do and you will be catching in no time, been there done that

Slab Master, I like to tie it on about a 10" section of line behind a swivel on the main line. The swivel will cut down on the line twist. Using a small barrel swivel won't interfere with the action.
