Hello all! I've read on here about some cards and have seen some for sale, but I still don't know the difference.I'm confused as to which ones offer the most structure and most important corp brushpile locations. If the new 2010 $200 cards are the best and show the best structure, then thats what I'll buy, but if thier is something less expensive that tends to show that I'm interested in then thats what I want...(now I'm confused..lol). I primary fish Ray Roberts, Bridgeport and Texhoma, so if someone could let me know the best card for my needs I'd certainly appreiciate it. I use a Lowrance LCX 28c. Thanks!

I don't know about the Corp brushpiles. But, the Hotspots Premium and Platnium are very detailed. If you have an older chip, you get get $50 rebate on the Premium and $75 on the Platnium by sending in your old card. Now, it have to pay MSRP on it to get the rebate per Navionics website.

Not to highjack your post, but I have a question along these lines...

I have the Navionics premium...Not sure why, but I was under the impression these had road beds, brush piles, etc... all marked...I thought it would be like the paper map but on the unit...

Mine just seems to have contours, creek names, humps, etc...Although very useful, I just thought it had more detail...Am I missing something or doing something wrong???

The source data will vary from lake to lake -

Navionics Exclusive HD Lake Maps (High-Definition Surveys) from Navionics' own US survey team and recent on-the-water surveys featuring up to 1' bottom contours for the most popular tournament lakes.

The remaining lakes data sets are from leading public and private sources including but not limited to: DNR, DRG, Lakewatch, NHS, NOAA, USACE, USGS.

Navionics encourages customer feed back, please submit your suggested enhancements http://www.navionics.com/NavionicsProductEnhancement.asp

As part of Navionics' commitment to quality and providing valuable information, Navionics has begun collecting User Generated Content (UGC) or Points of Interest (POI). Please use our new UGC Collection Form to input data you feel would be a valuable addition to Navionics charts. http://navionics.com/LakeCatalog_POI.asp

My friend has a 2008 Premium Hotspots and his shows brushpiles on Ray Roberts, I have a 2009 Premium Hotspots and it doesn't show any at all, and also from Lone Oak road north on the west side it doesn't show anything, you would think a newer modle would be better than an older one, but not in this case,

Why would they take stuff off a map instead of adding to it???

they lost thier licensing stuff for using another company's data. i think they had some changes in upper corporate or similar, that made them really decrease thier budget. also lost some prostaffers due to no budget for them.

One of our bass club members was having a problem with his lowrance unit not showing all the details on certain parts of the lake also. He was instructed to check and download any upgrades for his unit from the lowrance website. After he did that the unit displayed all the missing details the card had to offer. Hope this helps some of you.

I have all the up-dates done on my unit and the 2009 chip does not show any brushpiles on Ray Bob, also a 2010 Platinum card doesn't show them either!!!

I have lake insight on my HDS-5 and it does show the brushpiles on Ray Bob, only it doesn't show anything on Lewisville!!!
