Lord knows I have spent a fortune at Bass Pro Shops , but not one single penny because they sponsor KVD.

KVD who is that? grin

God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know when to go fishing.

They would probably make money...there's no telling what they pay him in sponsorship deals.

Bass Pro is much bigger than KVD,how many socker moms know who KVDS is when they go in a buy shoes, shorts, hats.I have a fishing buddy that does not know KVD is.....Bass Pro would not suffer at all

Im sure it's nothing extreme either but I've got to believe he's one of the higher paid pro-staff guys.

If paying to have him represent their company wasn't a financial benefit, they wouldn't do it. What would be the point?

Trust me, I don't give business execs a lot of credit but I can promise they're not sitting around saying "Let's pay KVD $250,000/yr to represent us, even though we get nothing in return"

They would lose all his signature merchandise... From rods, reels, baits, clothing etc.

Saved by the Lord... glad to be an Aggie!

I don't believe they would ever drop him in the first place, they still have Rick Clunn and he hasn't done anything in 20 years.

IMO, its more on the boat side Nitro/Tracker Marine group. As we all know Johnny Morris owens BPS and Nitro/Tracker Marine group. IMO, that's how KVD is mainly tie in with Bass Pro Shop. Also most of KVD signture's series are with quatum rods and reels, not with BPS.
