Im going to buy another boat I have up to 10 grand to spend,I need a salt water boat.I have a 17 ft allweld sc but I cant get out in the bay on most days.I do know that boats like Pathfinder and Nautic stars are the top end boats but can yall tell me about the poor mans boats (per say)like kenner cobia hydra-sport pro line which is the best bang for the buck when it come to these types of boats.I know I left some out but I hope ya get the general ideal of what im looking for..........thanks

For the money a Blue Wave is hard to beat. You should be able to find a 18'ish with a 90/115 in good shape for that price. It may take some looking but they are out there.

Kenner/Mako or Nautic star. But good luck finding a decent one for $10K this time of year.
Hydra sport is not really a shallow water boat....nor is Pro Line or Cobia.
Now, Donald...please pick John Bolton for your running mate.

I'm a big fan of kenners and makos. Ride is smooth and dry, even on windy days. Lots of room to fish and it is stable. For about 10 grand, you should probably be able to find something decent that is rigged with extras. I would Highly recomend to make sure the motor is not undersized, and a hydraulic jack plate. floats in about 12-18inches. The vee cuts through the chop, and the gunnels push the water down in out for a dry run. Hope this helps.
