That pond has a lot of dinks in it, I have never seen anything bigger than 2-3lbs. Last time I was there I caught 5-6 all under 1lb. Small weightless worms work best. Buy some 5 inch red shad worms and you are good to go. The fish there spook easily, use fluro line and sight fish walking around the pond, also throwing into cover. Fish the worm extremely slow. I would be very very surprised if there is anything big in that pond, it does look awesome though.

Anyone fished this place recently? I plan on fishing it soon. I was on google map street view and couldn't seem to find the entrance? I saw 3 gates but they were all closed.

I haven't, but my dad lives about 2 minutes down the road from it. Next time I go out there, I will check it out. Looks like you can get to it from the neighborhood behind the pond. Park in the dead end and walk up to it?

Yes I fished it a over a month ago. A lot of small fish, I didnt catch anything over .5lbs. It looks really good, but I really don't think there is anything over 2-3lbs in it.

oh, yeah you can just drive up right by the dock. It is gated from the street but always open.

Gotcha. I fish at Russell Creek Park sometimes, maybe I will just keep doing that. Catch about the same size fish there, plus the kiddo can catch brim off the dock.
