With all of the water that has been released from Amistad, how much has Falcon come up? Is there any flooding?

Checkout Falcon Lake Tackle for latest. It looks like it's coming-up pretty quickly. They anticipate full pool soon. Still clear water south of Velano.

i was hoping it would go down some more before my tripin september with Charlie. I guess that is not going to happen. Give us a report Fouz when you get back. It will be interesting to see how it goes.

I hate Falcon at full pool I would not go stay home LOL!!!!! Let us know how it was fouzman should be OK... Maybe she will be back down soon and the fish will stack back up they will be all over the place now. But if not they will have another awesome spawn again this year.

Falcon has caught a foot in the last 24.. We're at ten feet from full+-.. But a lot of big water on the doorstep.. Should see a big jump the next couple of days, and my guess that we will be full in a week to ten days.. Could be sooner, but I don't think so.. Depends on how far they open the gates on Amistad.. But that's my guess..
Fishing still good for now.. Clear water from the Diablo south.. Watch for floating debris.. Will prob be thick on upper lake.
Be careful out there..

Pics on Kens5.com that show Falcon really flooded right now. Saw a story about lake managers being worried about another system coming in shortly. They said the lakes caught a lot of the flood water from Alex but if another tropical system comes in, they have no choice but to do a dramatic release of water that will cause a lot of damage down the Rio Grand.

Need to correct my last post. I said 1000 cubic feet per second, it is 1,000 cubic meter per second that is being released at Amistad. They have 15 of the 16 gates open and are predicting they will be releasing at the 1000 cms for days to come.

Update anyone? My buddy in Laredo said that he was watching part of Eagle Pass was pass through via the Rio Grande.
I will probably hold off on coming to Zapata for a while.

Falcon has only caught about a foot and four inches in the last twenty four hours.. And thay are releasing water from Falcon in advance of the big push.. Lake is fishing fine on the South end..
No problem fishing mid lake down..
