First off thanks for all the info on Amistad for the trip that was taken Jul.1-2. Got on the water about 6:30 pm an started catching fish first cast caught 10-12 dinks but hey catching fish.Day 2 got on water and went to Millers cove caught fish about 20-25 some keepers but still gettin fish.left lake around 3 pm headin back home to Copperas Cove rained really heavy outside Uvalde, got home around 1am had great time will go back guess left just in time to avoid flooding. It only sprinkled 2-3 times while there. One sad item to report the owner Ruthie of Ruthie's rentals passed away the night before we arrived she finally gets back to her husband.RIP Ruthie.

Firefisher,

Glad you had a good trip. The lake looks a lot different since you left.

Wow, hate to hear that. Is the lodge going to remain open? Is someone else going to run it?
