I liked in their (PETA) def log someone named Jessica left this Fisherman [fɪ.ʃɹ.mɪn]: noun ... 2 a hunter with a change of environment. 3 a water hunter. 4 a sea kitten torturer. 5 the strongest derogatory term for a cruel person "You're such a fisherman."
I like number 5 I would take that as someone giving me props for doing well on the water. So Jessica if you want to tell me that and boost my ego go for it.
BTW I hope the tournament goes well and living in south mississippi if they pulled that stuff here there would be bodies of them floating in the water not the fish. Very different down here.

I want to fill up a pvc aircannon and launch ground shad at them from my kayak...if I only had a compressor small enough to bring on the water. I wonder if half cut minnows will work with a slingshot instead, most kitten torturers are proficient with a slingshot right? All jokes aside...any protester found near my jeep at night, WILL be found there in the morning. And anyone trying to sabatoge fishing gear, boats, or tow vehicles will be held at gun-point(or shot if they so choose) until police arrive. Harrassment of fisherman/hunters is a crime and we will prosecute...wont we?

That is something to brag about and be proud of. Hope you don't claim to be Christian. Just more proof why your state is at the bottom in education rates and at the top for high poverty rates. Be proud.

They shouldn't be proud of throwing people in the water? People do not usually float unless they are dead, judging from his states history and his comment they would not simply be "throwing people in the water". While the views of PETA are views I do not hold or share, and I think they are radical-- the great thing about our country is diverse opinion and the right to stand up for what you believe in (peacefully). Violence or the threat of violence should not be tolerated at any level, but instead should be spoken out against, especially because we claim our nation to be Christian.

This war against PETA will not be won or lost at this fishing tournament. It will be won or lost at the next and future elections. If people who are sympathetic to PETA's claims are elected, then the end of our way of life will be in sight. Whatever you choose to do to these idiots when you confront them is your business and I hope they get what they deserve. I wouldn't "run scared" from them just to protect the future of fishing because that's not going to do it. If you go against your natural response to this, then they've already won a battle. In other words, if you would normally 'turn the other cheek' to people like this, then do that. If you would normally tell them exactly what you think of them in no uncertain terms, then do that. Their only victory can come in making you become a different person than you are.

Insanity.... exactly, all those PETA folks need to be in an institution, maybe some where over near Terrell.. I really don't know why those PETA folks are allowed to roam around the country without adult supervison... I don't understand how they can get any credibility in the real, rational world... Look and laugh and stay away from the loonies...

i just read that PETA blog...what a bunch of crazy people. We don't need all these cowboys fighting them. Anyone in their right mind knows these people are crazy. I have a vegetarian friend who fishes and makes fun of PETA all the time...
