With most of the city receiving 7-12 " over the last couple days, everything is a little soggy huh

The parade and both firework shows have been canceled.Just a few pics from around town.My Daughter had a few inches in her garage, but nothing inside looks to be wet.Sun's out now,and hope we've seen the end of it for a while.

Maxey park playground.

Wow! I went to school at tech and these pics remind me of the storm in Sept of 2008.

Rad - I was out in the storm driving to/coming back from WRR. The lake has caught a ton of rain! I had to drive around 25mph most of the way back because of all the rushing water/standing water on the road. Took around 3.5hr to go 140 miles

I lived right next to a playa lake in Lubbock. It could rain 2 inches and that thing would fill up and be at my doorstep in no time.

I think it was last year Jones Stadium got flooded

Hate to see the flooding, but good to see LBK is gettin the rain. Hopefully it won't be the same when I return for the fall.

Lubbock averages 12 inchs of rain a year. You just don't want to live there the day they get it.
