I have a tr20 that i scaled out yester day and was surprize at the weight 3950 and I only have a single axle trailer. My tow vechile is a dodge nitro R/t it has a v-6 but no problems yet

buy a crew cab diesel truck.
plenty of space, can get around 20 mpg properly equipped, and can tow your boat 100mph.
good deals on used ones now too
